Hello, fire enthusiasts and woodburner aficionados! I have some incredible news that I’ve been eagerly waiting to share. For those of you who have been following my journey, you might recall a YouTube channel called Fireplace Products—a channel I originally created and ran for years, building a library of content centred on woodburners, fireplaces, and everything in between. As of this week, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve officially acquired the Fireplace Products YouTube channel, along with its entire back catalogue of videos.
Why Did I Acquire the Fireplace Products Channel?
You might be wondering why I decided to buy the YouTube channel back. After all, it’s been several years since I left Fireplace Products, and since then, I’ve been busy here, building new content, sharing reviews, tips, and how-to’s with a loyal and growing audience.
The simple answer is that Fireplace Products is where it all started for me, and over the years, I’ve seen so much value in the library of content we created there. It’s a treasure trove of timeless woodburning content, from in-depth reviews to practical tips, that many of you still find helpful today. By bringing the channel back into my ownership, I can reintroduce this content, update it with new information, and provide a fresh perspective while respecting the foundation we built.
A Nostalgic Look Back
Returning to the old Fireplace Products channel has been a nostalgic experience for me, and I think you’ll get a kick out of it too. One of the highlights of digging into these older videos is realising just how much has changed. For one, you might be surprised to see me without a beard! Yes, some of those classic videos might look a little different, but they’re still packed with useful information and practical advice that’s just as relevant today as it was back then.
New Name for a New Chapter
To mark this new chapter, I’m also excited to share that the Fireplace Products channel will be rebranded to Woodburner Insights. This new name reflects our continued mission to be an authoritative source on all things woodburning—from stove insights and product spotlights to best practices and environmental impact discussions. Woodburner Insights is all about providing valuable, in-depth knowledge for both long-time enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of woodburning.
In addition, I’ll be migrating some of the most relevant content from the Redefining Woodburners YouTube Channel over to Woodburner Insights, creating a well-rounded channel that covers everything from classic reviews to fresh, current perspectives on today’s woodburner technology and industry trends. This merger aims to give you, our viewers, a one-stop channel filled with a mix of beloved classics and brand-new content.
